Seller's Inspection
While most homeowners who have gone through the process of selling a home at least once before are aware that they are required to fill out a “Sellers Disclosure Report” when they list their home for the purpose of selling it to another party, first time home sellers may not be aware of this.
A seller’s inspection is designed to give home sellers the knowledge they need to properly disclose known adverse conditions (deficiencies) to home buyers. By having adverse conditions brought to their attention, home sellers have the opportunity to address them before the home is listed for sale.
A professional home seller’s inspection can increase the value of a property and it may also decrease the time that a home is listed for sale on the market. As with a buyer’s inspection, the completed home seller’s inspection report is typically printed on site. In addition, it may be Emailed, Faxed, or be made available in CD format.
